WANDA FAYE MADDEN Wanda Faye Madden, 70, resident of rural Bartlesville, died Sunday at her home Funeral services for Mrs. Madden will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday January 25, at the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Sherman Jaquess of the Matoaka Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in the Matoaka Cemetery south of Bartlesville under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory. Mrs, Madden was born December 2, 1941 at Bartlesville, to Alvin W. and Rosalie I. (Lowen) Polk. She grew up and received her early education at Ochelata, and later at Bartlesville, graduating from High School at Bartlesville. She was married to Charles S. Madden on December 2, 1961, at Stilwell Oklahoma. They made their home most of their married life in the Bartlesville area. Mr. Madden had worked as a truck driver for many years, and Mrs. Madden was a homemaker devoted to her children and grandchildren. She was also a active member of the Matoaka Baptist Church, at which she had worked for many years in the Vacation Bible School program. Mrs. Madden is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Terri Madden Francis and her husband Gov’nor of Bartlesville, by one son Wayne Madden of Bartlesville, and by one brother, Marvin Polk of Bartlesville; by six grandchildren Mrs.Kevin(Amber) Ragan, of Bartlesville, Bryce and wife Ashley Highfield of Oklahoma City, OK., Trey Madden of Ramona, Malori Madden of Nowata, Megan Madden of Ochelata, and Rylee Francis of Bartlesville; five great grandchildren Shaylee Ragan, Kaiden Ragan, Michael Highfield, Rien Highfield, and Taelynn Gann. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles S. Madden in 1994, and by one son James Michael Madden also in 1994, and by her mother and father, and two sisters, Patricia Polk as a infant, and Carolyn Sumner in 2001. Pallbearers for Mrs. Madden were Bryce Highfield, Trey Madden, Kevin Ragan, Brian Madden Jimmy Sumner, and Troy Young. Honorary pallbearers were Jimmy Madden and Leroy Young.
