Eudora Gale Hamilton

Eudora Gale Hamilton, 67, was born April 12, 1957, in Wichita, Kansas. She passed away August 18, 2024, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Gale was the second child born to her parents Lawrence R. and Elmalene E. Hamilton. Soon after her birth, the family moved to Carthage, Missouri, where her father took a position with Antrim Lumber Company. Shortly after that move, her father was transferred to Sand Springs, OK, where her youngest brother was born. One year later, her father took a manager position with Hughes Lumber Company and moved to Bartlesville. Gale completed her school in Bartlesville and upon graduation she took a full-time position with K-Mart Corporation. After almost 10 years with K-Mart, she went back to school to pursue a paralegal degree and possibly go to law school. Gale loved to help people. She was generous to a fault. She was the kind of person that gives you her last dollar, last piece of bread or the shirt off her back then do without. Even after her death, she continued to give and help people by being an organ donor. Her gifts will help others have a better life. After working as a service representative for various companies, Gale took on helping her mom, dad, and older brother as their health deteriorated and needed assistance. Besides helping others, Gale loved to read, fish, knit, and beadwork making jewelry. She also collected insulated mugs. Her dad and brothers teased her about her mug collection. Later, Gale was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and AFIB. Her goal was to stay healthy enough to help her youngest brother with his kids and grandkids. However, God had other plans. After multiple trips to the hospital and rehab, Eudora Gale Hamilton passed away. Gale was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and older brother. Gale is survived by her brother, Wayde and his wife Engla of Nowata, OK; her two nephews: Clint and his wife Christina of Nowata, Dustin and his wife Tessa of Bartlesville; one great niece, Azlynn; and four great-nephews, Trenten, Mason, Parker, and Watson. Eudora Gale Hamilton elected cremation and a memorial service. Her memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at 2pm, at Stumpff Funeral Home in Bartlesville.
