Obituary for Shirley Ann Hudgens Shirley Ann Hudgens was born to Noah and Bessie Barnard in August of 1940. Bessie Barnard is also the late Bessie Harrisson of Dewey, OK. Shirley attended schools and grew up in the Dewey, OK area and frequently told stories of her childhood there. She spent the majority of her life as a dry cleaner and later worked in home health care. At one time she owned Courtesy Cleaners in Dewey. She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary and very much enjoyed participating in their community outreach. She stayed involved her entire life and was in attendance with her sisters the night before her passing. She lived and loved to help others first and foremost. She is survived by her son, Rodney Jenkins and wife Jean of Tulsa, OK; her daughters Debbie Brewer and husband Steven of Ochelata, OK and Diana Martin and partner Patrick Johnson of Broken Arrow, OK. She is also survived by stepson, Michael Hudgens and wife Tammy of Dewey; and four sisters: Norie Melton of Bartlesville; Margaret Barcus and husband John of Bartlesville; Nyoka Folds of Tulsa, and Linda Kemp and husband Steve of Vera, OK. She has four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Lester Hudgens in March, 2015; her son Billy Jenkins in April, 1997, and her brother Arthur Barnard. Memorial services will be at Stumpff Funeral Home in Bartlesville, OK on Wednesday, February 1 at 2:00pm.
