Mrs. Ruby Lee Kendrick Mrs. Ruby Lee Kendrick, 78, of Bartlesville, died at 1:19 P.M. Sunday, May 22, 2011 at the OSU Medical Center in Tulsa. Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Kendrick will be held at 2 P.M. Friday, May 27, 2011 at the Osage Garden Cemetery at Skiatook with Mr. David Mabon officiating. Funeral services and interment in Osage Gardens will be directed by the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory. Friends who wish may sign the guest register at the Stumpff Funeral Home and the casket will remain closed at all times. A memorial has been established and those who wish may send their contributions to Susan G. Koman for the Cure, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, Texas 75265-0309. Mrs. Kendrick was born at Sperry, Oklahoma on February 10, 1933 the daughter of Violet Mae (Powell) Treat and Berry Jackson Treat. She grew up and received her early education at Sperry and attended her high school years at Shidler and then at Skiatook where she graduated in 1952. She was married to Hobert L. Williams and there were three daughters born to that marriage. She was employed briefly in Skiatook until moving to Bartlesville where she was employed with Roy Hughes Chevrolet in Bartlesville for a number of years and then with Reda Pump. She later opened her own businesses and from 1987 until 1999 operated Ruby’s and Ruby’s + in downtown Bartlesville and Ruby’s II in Washington Park Mall. She was married to Richard Lee Kendrick on January 13, 1985 in Bartlesville and they have made their home here since that time. She was a member of the East Bartlesville Christian Church. She loved sports and had coached girls fast pitch softball and she enjoyed fishing, traveling and garage sales. Mrs. Kendrick is survived by her husband, Richard Lee Kendrick of Bartlesville, three daughters, Denise Williams of Bartlesville, Toni Williams of Moore, Okla., and Kristy Wilson of Dewey, one step son, Monty D. Kendrick of Bartlesville, one step daughter, Terri Gower of Winder, Georgia, four grandchildren, Byron A. Wilcox, Carissa L. Wilcox, Levi K. Wilson and his wife Kasandra and Sabrina R. Wilson and one great grandchild, Levi K. Wilson Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Dorothy and Velma and six brothers, Faye Arlis, Ray, Troy, Berry Jr., Gerald and Roy in infancy. PDF Printable Version
