Ronald Lynn Trumble

Ronald Lynn Trumble 02/17/1953 - 05/19/2023 On May 19th, Ron Trumble, beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away at the age of 70 in the comforts of his home surrounded by his wife and daughters. Ron is survived by his wife, Amy Trumble; his children Nicole (Seth) Harrell, Luke Trumble, Laurel (Danny) Rose, and Holly (Justyn) Shaw; his grandchildren Rynara and Carter Shaw. Forever remembered by his siblings Jeanne (Don) Rizzuto, Sharon Trumble Kindred, Luann (Mike) Baird, Michelle Trumble and Kathy Aiken. Ron was predeceased by his parents Herbert Quincy Trumble and Florabelle Trumble, his sister Linda (Dan) Davis and brother Tom Trumble. Ron was born in La Junta, Colorado on February 17, 1953. He was the third of seven children. Although he thrived at picking on his siblings, he cared passionately for each one of them. He grew up playing sports and learning guitar. His music and art skills trumped his athleticism, but you couldn't find a bigger Denver Broncos fan if you tried. Ron worked as a land surveyor before starting his career at Phillips Petroleum which took him to Rankin, TX and back to his hometown of La Junta, CO before eventually moving to Bartlesville, OK in the late 80's. Shortly after the move, he met his Amy Lou. They got married at the Bartlesville Boot and Shoe Repair/Wedding Chapel on September 6, 1991 - no muss, no fuss, just love and friendship was all they needed. Ron's love of music and the arts was known by all. His loved ones enjoyed his singing and guitar playing, and each of them have fond memories of specific songs they can play on repeat in remembrance of those special times with him. Every chance he got, Ron delighted to use his gift of music to glorify God as a volunteer member of his church's worship team. But whether he was on stage or in his living room, he reveled at any chance to strum his guitar. Ron was known for his generosity and compassion towards others. If there was ever a need to be met, he jumped at the opportunity to serve. His selfless giving impacted many, but it was his words of hope during times of personal trials that touched the spirits of many, many more. The memorial service will be held on June 4, 2023, at 3-4pm at Christ Community Church (5210 SE Washington Blvd, Bartlesville, OK 74006). Following the service, Ron's family will continue with a come-and-go celebration of life event from 4:30-8pm at Scissortail Brewing Company (623 EDon Tyler Ave, Dewey, OK 74029). Ron was a snappy-dresser, but he preferred jeans over a suit any day. His family would love to see all in attendance of his service dress casually in navy and/ or orange in remembrance of his favorite NFL team, the Denver Broncos.
