Romona B (Monie) Bullen Romona (Monie) Bullen passed quietly to her heavenly home on the morning of August 5th with family and friends at her side after a strong courageous battle with failing health over the last 2 years. She was born March 24th 1949 at Pampa, Texas. Romona was a graduate of Wesleyan College with an Associate Degree, attended Tri County Tech graduating in 1972 from the Licensed Practical Nursing program. She began her professional career working for Dr. Wolfe DO of Skiatook. She then began working at Jane Phillips Medical Center from 1972 until her retirement in 2000. Monie as she was affectionately called by her family and friends was small in stature but mighty in everything she did. With a wonderful sense of humor, never meeting a stranger, was giving of herself to all she met. She had a great passion for many things, but the lake and fishing were at the top of her list. She leaves behind sisters Virginia Miller and Frances Stumpff both of the Bartlesville, brother, Jim Miller of Somerville, Texas 7 nieces and nephews as well as several great nieces and nephews. In addition to her family she leaves behind several friends. If you were one of the lucky people she called friend, then she told you “you are my friend, but you are also my family,” all of her special friends know who they are because she made a point to tell you she loved you and she treated you like her family A Memorial Service and Celebration of her life will be Saturday August 8th 10:00am at Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel.
