Ralph Lee Wilson

Ralph Lee Wilson, aged 76, passed away on July 19, 2024, in Skiatook, Oklahoma. Born on June 14, 1948, in Vinita, Oklahoma, Ralph dedicated much of his life to serving his country, family and community. A proud veteran, Ralph served in the 199th Infantry Brigade of the United States Army as a sergeant during the Vietnam War. This serves as a testament to his bravery and commitment to his nation. He had many notable merits and honors including the Bronze star and the Combat Infantryman Badge. Following his military service, he embarked on a career in construction and bridge development. He was a superintendent and contractor for several local construction firms and later became a business owner of Ralph Wilson Construction serving the greater Skiatook/Owasso/Collinsville areas. Ralph was a hard worker and provider for his family. Ralph was a beloved figure in his community, known for his tenacious spirit and as a steadfast provider for his family. He also coached Little League baseball and softball, sharing his love of sports with his children and their teammates. He is survived by his daughters, Patricia Christine Wilson and Stacie Lee Wilson; and grandson, Daxton Colt Wilson of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Siblings include Cathy Wilson and Joe Wilson, Jr. of Bartlesville, Oklahoma and Dorthy Jones of El Paso, Texas. Brother-in-Laws include Gene and Barbara Harvey of Sand Springs, Oklahoma and Michael Harvey of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Ralph was preceded in death by his son, Colton Jeremy Wilson; wife, Mary Ann Wilson; father, Bert Wilson; mother, Fern Wilson; brothers, Joe and Mildred Wilson, Arky and Mary Wilson, Marvin Wilson, Bert Wilson, Cecil Wilson, Raymond Wilson, and Earl Wilson; and sister, Erma Love, Helen Upshaw, Wilma Dunbar and Shirley Donahue and extended family. Ralph was an alumnus of Bartlesville College High and attended Northeastern Oklahoma A & M College in Miami, Oklahoma and Bartlesville Wesleyan College, where he pursued undergraduate courses. Memorial services will be held at a later date to ensure that family and friends can attend. Stumpff Funeral Home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma is assisting the family during this time.
