Patricia Ann Robertson

Patricia Ann Robertson was born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma on May 21, 1942, and died on October 24, 2023. Pat was the oldest of three children born to Dorothy (Campbell) and Floyd Selim. A native “Bartian,” Pat attended Jane Phillips Elementary School, Central Junior High School, and Bartlesville College High School, graduating in 1960. On April 1, 1961, Pat married her high school sweetheart, Joe Robertson. Pat helped put Joe through college at the University of Kansas and law school at the University of Oklahoma. In 1971, after brief stints in Durant, Oklahoma and Alva, Oklahoma, Pat and Joe moved back to Bartlesville with their two sons, John and Mark. Pat was the quintessential working mom, working a full-time job, managing most of the household duties, and raising her sons. Pat worked for Dr. Warren Fooshee, before accepting an administrative job with the Oklahoma Department of Human Services. In 1983, Pat went back to college at Bartlesville Wesleyan College. After five years of working full-time and attending classes at night, Pat received a B.S in Behavioral Science, graduating with honors in May 1988. Shortly thereafter, Pat became a counselor at DHS and continued in that position until she retired. Pat always provided support and love for her family. She worked hard to provide opportunities for her children, and, in later years, she doted on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. One of her favorite gifts was a digital frame that quickly became loaded with hundreds of pictures of her family. Pat was an active member of East Cross Church in Bartlesville, serving on the Nurture Committee. Pat also volunteered at the Concern Center in Bartlesville. Pat is survived by her son John Robertson and wife Sharie of Oklahoma City, her son Mark Robertson and wife Michele of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, grandchildren, Jeff Robertson (wife Heidi), Nikki Cotner (husband Tyler), and Nate Robertson (wife Hallie) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, grandson Zach Robertson (wife Sophie) of Bozeman, Montana, great-grandchildren Easton, Chloe, Eloise, and Xander, and brothers, Dave Selim (wife Karen) of Corpus Christi, Texas, and John Selim (wife Blinda) of Tulsa, Oklahoma. A celebration of Pat’s life will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023, 11:00 AM, at East Cross Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to East Cross Church, Bartlesville KLIFE Ministries, or the Concern Center.
