Ollie Mae (Smith) Graham

Mrs. Ollie Mae (Smith) Graham, 94, wife of Gerald Graham, passed away May 19, 2017 at her home at Tall Grass Estates. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 24 at 10:00 a.m. at Stumpff Funeral Home with East Cross Methodist Church Pastor Jeff Burress presiding. Graveside services and interment will be at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Ponca City, Ok, under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home. The family will receive guests for visitation at the Stumpff Funeral Home from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2017. Mrs. Graham was born January 18, 1923, in Wewoka, OK to Marshall M. and Ida S. (Campbell) Smith. She was raised and received her education in Wewoka. After graduation from high school in 1941 she moved to Ponca City, Ok where she attended Ponca City Business College. She was employed by Continental Oil Company Pipeline Accounting Department until her marriage to James Mitchell Rogers in April, 1944. Mr. and Mrs. Rogers lived in Roswell, NM and Guymon and Ponca City, OK before moving to Bartlesville, OK in 1952 where they were employed by Phillips Petroleum Company. Mrs. Rogers worked for Phillips for 32 years in the Gas and Gas Liquids Department. She did secretarial work for 20 years and was Records Manager for 12 years in the Gas and Gas Liquids Department Library when she retired in March 1985. Mrs. Rogers was married to William C. Burdett in April, 1977. Mr. Burdett preceded her in death in April, 1994. She was married to Gerald L. Graham in August, 1998. Mrs. Graham was a member of East Cross United Methodist Church, the Upper Room Sunday School Class and Retirees of ECUMC, Daughters of the American Revolution and Life Member of Jane Phillips Society. She was also a volunteer of Meals on Wheels for many years. Mrs. Graham is survived by her husband, Gerald, one son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Jan Rogers of Cincinnati, Ohio and Polebridge, Montana, and three grandchildren; David and wife Heather Rogers of Cincinnati, great grandchildren, Benner Mae and Campbell; Kendall Rogers of Cincinnati, great grandchildren Aya and Evangeline Lewis; and Loran Kerrigan, Spokane, Washington; great grandchildren Dane and Addie; one brother Jeptha Smith, Center Point, Texas and one sister-in-law Mildred Smith of Ponca City, Oklahoma. She is also survived by stepchildren Matthew Graham, Singapore, Marsha Bowling, Edmond, Oklahoma, David Burdett, Edmond, Oklahoma, Cheryl Gilliland, Tulsa, eight step grandchildren and many nephews, nieces and cousins. Preceding her in death were her parents Marshall and Ida Smith of Bartlesville, four brothers, Marshall M. Smith, III, Bartlesville, Manus L. Smith, Wewoka, Robert K. Smith and Elvis E. Smith of Ponca City and one great grandson, James David Rogers, Cincinnati. A memorial in Mrs. Graham’s name has been established at East Cross United Methodist Church and Meals on Wheels.
