Kimberly Ann Hoppock

Kimberly Ann Hoppock (62), a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on January 20th, 2024 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma at the Journey Home. Kim was born on February 17th, 1961 in Waterloo, Iowa and later moved to Bartlesville, Oklahoma to attend college at Oklahoma Wesleyan University. Kim met the love of her life, Jimmie Hoppock and began her family in Bartlesville. Kim and Jimmie started their family and had three beautiful children. Brandon, Jimmie Dale and Tamara Hoppock. Kim’s family meant everything to her and she poured all of herself into being the best wife, mother, and grandmother possible. It’s safe to say her greatest accomplishments were her children and later her grandchildren. Kim’s life was filled with love and compassion for her family and friends but also for Jesus Christ. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Jimmie Hoppock; Son, Brandon Hoppock (Anderea); Daughter in law, Donna Hoppock; Daughter, Tamara Hoppock (Devin); Father, Dale Hackwell SR. (Carol); Sister, Cheri Firgard (Doug); Sister, Pamela Hackwell; Brother, Dale Hackwell jr. (Beth); her Grandchildren, Chesnie, Kyler, Paislie, Weston, Avery, Emmitt and Sutton, as well as many other family members and friends. In addition to being dedicated to her family and faith, Kim enjoyed volunteering at the Bartlesville Round Up Club with unwavering dedication. Her passion for helping others extended beyond volunteering as she also touched countless of little lives through her work as a Pre-K assistant at Kane Elementary School. The impact she had on young minds will never be forgotten. Kim was an incredible friend to many. She made lifelong friendships while attending Oklahoma Wesleyan University, while working at Kane Elementary, and while working at Dillard's Department store. Whether you were a coworker, a parent or a customer, her kind spirit could truly brighten your day. One of Kim’s greatest joys was baking delicious treats for those she loved most. Whether it were her brownies or drizzle bars, nothing brought more happiness than sharing some of her sweet treats with others. Kim also enjoyed bargain shopping, taking roadtrips and riding horses- her favorite was Diva. During her final days here on earth we are grateful for the compassionate care provided by Journey Home Hospice which allowed us to surround our dear Kim with love until the very end. Kim is preceded in death by her Son, Jimmie Dale Hoppock; Mother, Virginia Hackwell; Grandparents, John and Goldie Hackwell and Percy and Evelyn(Mary) Leaman; Aunt, Betty Wahlert and Uncle, Al Wahlert, Cousin, Jonathan Alliss; Sister in law, Patricia Hobson and Brother in law, Terry Blanchard. Pallbearers include: Brandon Hoppock, Devin Gray, Kenneth Ferry, Dale Hackwell, Doug Firgard and Don Hoppock. Honorary pallbearers are Kyler Hoppock, Weston Gray and Emmitt Hoppock. The memory of Kim will live on through the countless lives she touched with kindness throughout her lifetime. Her legacy of love will continue through those who were lucky enough to have known such an extraordinary woman.
