Jesse F. Harrington III

Jesse F. Harrington III, 85, of Dewey, passed away on January 6, 2024. Jesse was born September 11, 1938, in Dewey to parents Jesse F. Harrington II. and Eula Mae Cook. He attended and graduated from Dewey High School. Jesse worked for companies such as Dewey Portland Cement Plant and was a Gauger for Co-Op/ Farmland for 38 years. On May 10, 1958, Jesse married Judith Ann (Nolan) Harrington. He loved stock car racing as racing was his passion, and raced among the greats at Lakeside Speedway in Dewey in the early 70s. He loved to dance and enjoyed fishing. In his younger years, Jesse farmed wheat and soybeans every summer. He loved to tell stories about his fast cars in the younger years, and memories of his friends and their shenanigans. He was our Best Friend and had a very generous heart. He will be greatly missed. Jesse was preceded in death by daughter Lynda (Harrington) Swan, granddaughter Heaven Lee Theisen, Father Jesse F. Harrington II, Mother Eula Mae Hudson, and Delbert Hudson. Sister Mary Lou Rodgers, and husband John Rodgers. One nephew Tony Davis of Catoosa. One Brother in law Mike Nolan of Dallas Tx. Grandparents Orvil and Minnie Cook and the Cook families of Copan. Many more family and friends. Jesse is survived by a son, James R Harrington (Jimmy) of Dewey; a daughter, Lisa Harrington of Dewey; and son-in-law Don Swan of Dewey. grandchildren, Brian and Amy Swan, and family Haley, Hana, Kyle, and Kaci Swan. Heather Cash and husband Luke, and children Kennedy and Kadie Hinkle, granddaughters Leslie Gordineer of Euliss, Tx, and Emily Theisen, and great-grandchildren, Elle, Everlee, Eden, and Evan. One brother, Orville Harrington, Jan and Dana Harrington, sister Joyce (Harrington) Shull, Missy and Mark Franco, Lewis Shull Jr. and family, Sister Rosetta (Harrington) Forsee of Bartlesville, Nieces and Nephews, Tony and Carolyn Osborne and Family, Don Jr. Osborne, Kim and family, Sherry Hornung and Family. Jack, Jerry, John, Jeff, and Janana Rodgers and families. Grandson Jason Catlin. Nephew Mike Nolan Jr and family. Niece Jayne Robbins and husband Randy, a special fondness for Dustin Robbins, Nicole Fielder, and Garrett Robbins.
