. Mr. James Franklin “Buffalo” Gaffney II James Franklin “Buffalo” Gaffney II, 55, resident of Tahlequah died at 10:04 A.M. on Monday in Tulsa. A Memorial Celebration of James’s life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Sunday at the Osage Hills State Park, Pavilion #2. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory. Mr. Gaffney was born May 15, 1962 at Pawhuska, Oklahoma to James Franklin and Geneva Caldwell Gaffney. He was a native of Pawhuska, and grew up and received his early education at Haysville, Kansas, until moving to Bartlesville where he completed his education, graduating from College High School with the Class of 1980. He had made his home in the Bartlesville Area, until moving to Owasso in 1990 for a few years until moving to Tahlequah. He had worked as a transport driver of Kubois Area Transit, transporting patients, and students in the Tahlequah, and Northeaster State University area. James was well known in the Bartlesville and Tahlequah area as “Buffalo, and was a stranger to no one. James is survived by two Aunts, Lana Hurd of Pawhuska, and Lesta Starr, one Uncle, Joe Caldwell of Wichita KS and by cousins Ty Caldwell of Morrison OK, Tony Caldwell of Wichita, KS, Terri Caldwell-Johnson and husband Bill of Wichita, KS, Jason Caldwell of Wichita, KS and by Jess and J.R.
