MRS. ELVA PAULINE HARRIS Elva Pauline Harris, 77, resident of Bartlesville, died Thursday in Bartlesville. Elva Pauline Harris was born on June 3rd, 1938 and passed away on June 2, 2016, peacefully at her home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma , of natural causes. Pauline was the mother of eight children, and is survived in life by four sons and one daughter. Tommy Joe Kerr and wife Hailey of Eucha, Oklahoma, Gary Kerr of Owasso Oklahoma, Rick Kerr and wife Angela of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, David and wife Kim Kerr of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and Doris Byfield of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, along with 25+ great-grandchildren. She has two brothers, J.L. and Carl Sissom, and one sister Christine Hidaldo that survives her in life as well. Pauline was preceded in death by her loving husband of 38 years, Cleo James Harris, along with two sons, Robert Kerr and Ronnie Kerr. Pauline worked for 25+ years for the Phillips Petroleum Company, and enjoyed her job very much. She worked very hard to keep her family together, and for many years held two jobs as a single mother to do so. Her family was everything to her. Her main love in life was that of her family, and she never missed an opportunity to brag one of her children or grandchildren. Pauline has many hobbies in life, the main one being family! She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and loved to have large cookouts at her home where everyone could gather for hours and be together. Pauline was a phenomenal cook and loved to have any excuse to cook for her family. She also enjoyed sewing, collecting antiques, (especially buttons), and going for long drives with her children. She loved to visit daily with her kids and grandchildren along with friends and other family members. Quite frequently she would have company along with multiple phone calls from people that just loved to visit with her, and often at the same time. Pauline saved very picture, note and/or newspaper article that involved any of her family, so as to one day she could pass the memories down to her cherished loved ones. She also passed down her love of collecting antiques and going to garage sales to many of her large family and many friends. Pauline’s first love in life was that of her family. She loved them dearly with every breath that she took, and she will be deeply missed by all that loved her just as much. Funeral services for Pauline will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday in the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Greg McNall officiating. Interment will be in the White Rose Cemetery in Bartlesville, under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
