Mrs. Doris Lorraine Malone Mrs. Doris Lorraine Malone, 87, of Bartlesville, died at 8:31 A.M. Friday, October 7, 2011 at the Jane Phillips Medical Center. Funeral services for Mrs. Malone will be held at 1 P.M. on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at the Tuxedo Assembly of God Church with Pastor Bret Luallen officiating. Interment will be in the Snider Cemetery at Chelsea, Oklahoma directed by the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory. Casket escorts will include Michael Malone, Ryan Malone, Casey Malone, Chad E. Malone, Bill Henderson amd Elijah Robles Henderson. A memorial has been established and those who wish may send their contributions to the Tuxedo Assembly of God Church, 3503 East Tuxedo Blvd., Bartlesville, Oklahoma, 74006. Mrs. Malone was born on October 27, 1923 at Salina, Kansas to John K. and Allie G. (Jackson) Sprague. She grew up in the Chelsea area where she came with her family and completed her education there. She was married to Clarence Edward Malone on December 18, 1943 at Vinita. Mr. and Mrs. Malone made their home in Bokoshe until moving to Marin County, California where Mr. Malone was a golf course superintendent until his retirement in 1975. Mr. and Mrs. Malone moved to Bartlesville in 1977 and Mr. Malone preceded her in death on February 13, 1986. Mrs. Malone has continued her home in Bartlesville since that time. She was a member of the Tuxedo Assembly of God Church, was a good mother, grandmother and great grandmother and loved her church family. Mrs. Malone is survived by one daughter, Shirley Bruno and her husband Joseph of Bartlesville, three sons, James Edward Malone and his wife Debbie of Farmington, New Mexico, Charles Eugene Malone and his wife Sharon of Bartlesville, and Dr. Christopher Todd Malone and his wife Amy of Broken Arrow, Okla., two brothers, Charles Sprague and Paul Sprague both of Stillwater, Okla., two sisters, Geraldine Howell of Tulsa and Bobbie Schaesdall of Hot Spring, Arkansas, nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
