DONALD LEE DAVIS Donald Lee Davis, 86, died at 8:40 P.M., Sunday in Owasso, he was born on July 18, 1929 in Amarillo, Texas the son of Luther Ambus and Vera Frances (Crum) Davis. He was married to Clara Jean Mayfield in 1951 and they were married for over 64 years. They lived the majority of the life in Bartlesville. He was a master at floor refinishing and loved C.B. Radios and spent hours on the radio. He was a member of the Caney Valley CB Club and went to many “Coffee Breaks” the club worked as storm watchers and later they became the Emergency Management. He was very active with the Emergency Management and took many classes and seminars. The Bartlesville City Council presented him with a plaque for his many years of service. Donald is survived by his wife Jean of the home, one son Jerry Davis of Wichita, Kansas, one daughter, Judy Sheets and her husband Calvin of Owasso, one brother Col. Richard E. Davis. United States Air Force, Ret. and his wife Vera of Patillion, Nebraska, four grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday in the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Mack Baughn of Owasso officiation.
