Carrie Elizabeth Johnson

On Friday September 6th of 2024 a beautiful soul was sent to heaven to be with Our Lord.. Carrie Elizabeth (Beth) Towns Johnson was born on August 16th of 1949 to Paul Edward Towns Sr. and Darlene Mae Gilbert Towns in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She is survived by her daughter Misty Ornder West and husband Sherman of Nowata, Ok. A son, Anthony Paul Ornder of Bartlesville, Ok. Her very best friend, Bob Warren of Ramona, Ok. and her very best four-legged friend, “ Sweetie Pie” also of Ramona, Ok. Grandchildren Ashley and Cody of Owasso, Sara and Brian of Collinsville, John Wayne and Hannah of Claremore, Levi Gailey of Bartlesville, Dakota Gailey of Bartlesville, Kurrey and Jena of Oologah, Tyler of Sapulpa, Jessica and Kyle of Collinsville, Britlyn of Skiatook, Olivia of Broken Arrow, daughter in-law Pam Basore of Skiatook and 20 great-grandchildren. Sisters Connie Rourke of Owensboro, Kentucky and Cindy Rawlings of Broken Arrow, Ok. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and many friends.. She was proceeded in death by her mother and father, her only brother Paul Edward Towns Jr. (Sonny), sister Donna Rae Short and husband Jack Short, nephew Rusty Short. Sister Janice Elaine Everly and husband Eddie Everly, nephew Troy Everly and brother-in-law Rick Rawlings and too many friends.. In life.. Beth was known for her sometimes overly honest opinion and feisty spirit and was always game for debate. She was always putting others before herself, even those not so deserving because she had a big heart and gave everybody the benefit of doubt. She gave endless care to her father, mother and brother until their death no matter the personal sacrifice because of the great love she had for them. When she was able, she enjoyed fishing and camping. She enjoyed gardening and could grow beautiful plants and flowers with little effort. She was an artist and wrote poetry. She collected birdhouses and had a hoard of antiques and collectibles. She lived on coffee. She had the most beautiful, thick, natural blonde hair that fell to the back of her knees that was rarely seen out of a ponytail or bun. She considered it a mess. She despised smartphones. But of all things in life that she loved and enjoyed the most was her family. She was so proud of her children and grandchildren. They could do no wrong.. Even after death, Beth was a giving person. She was a Life Share Donor. She will truly be missed by all that loved her.. There will be a memorial at a later date.
