Brian Keith Davis

Brian Keith Davis was the 4th born, only son of 5 children born to George Edward and Tensie Ann Davis. He leaves behind his wife of 25 yrs., Shelly Renee Davis (Chasteen). Brian was a loving father to two children; Brandon Davis (Rose & grandchildren), Samantha Shields (Davis) (Keith) and his pride and precious joy Karson. Brian will be missed greatly by many which includes his remaining siblings; Vicky Stroud (George), Nicky Hall (Greg), Sara Davis and their respective families. Also, he will be missed by his extended family, numerous aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. All of whom feel the loss of their beloved family member. Brian is preceded in death by his oldest sister, Tensie Ann Marie Johnson (Davis), Grandmother Helen Brown, Uncle Carl Davis, Aunt Yvonne Davis, and Grandma and Grandpa Richardson. As a young boy, teenager, and a man, Brian was an amazing family oriented person. There will never be another son that loved his parents as much as he did! His father was his greatest hero and his mother was his biggest supporter. Brian attended Skiatook High School. He was an active member of the Skiatook Basketball team and the local chapter of FFA. He went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Army during Desert Storm. He was commended with medals for his service. However, Brian's ultimate love and what he was most proud of was his family. Being a husband and father fulfilled a dream that he always wanted. It was not uncommon for him to brag about his children's success and talents. In recent years his heart grew tremendously with the love of his first grandson, Karson. He honestly never stopped talking about how much he loved and enjoyed the blessings God had given him. Brian will be forever remembered for his creative mind-if there was something to be fixed or invented, he was always attempting and succeeding in a way to make it happen. His sense of humor was absolutely unique in that he had a way of turning serious moments or uncomfortable silence into a moment filled with laughter and life. He was always making others happy and finding a way to see the humor in most situations. Brian found God and we are all so blessed to have that assurance today. He loved God and used his knowledge of the word and the Lord's forgiving love to connect with all types of friends and family. Regardless of his circumstances, he would reach out with scripture or the positive love of God to show his faith filled love and compassion. Those who know and love Brian have been with him through his journey. Though he faced many trials and struggles; he was constantly pressing forward attempting to put the pieces of his life back together. It's this tenacity, his desire to love and to be loved in all forms and fashion that made Brian successful. HE NEVER GAVE UP; HE ENDURED ALWAYS. Our Son, Brother, Husband, Father, and Friend will so greatly be missed. Today the room is a little quieter, the stories and laughter a little less vibrant, and the light in the room a little more dim without him here. We should all honor Brian by remembering his example of love and compassion. He loved each of us greatly and with an immeasurable amount of acceptance. He would want us to come together in his memory and celebrate those moments of clarity and happiness. We must follow in his footsteps and push forward reaching out to those around us who are hurting. Brian is finally free, he is healed, and has been delivered to the Great Physician, Comforter, and The Father of Forgiveness. We can live in the assurance that he has found his way home and finally at peace watching over each of us with his sister Tensie Ann Marie at his side.
