Bobby Dean Hindman Mr. Bobby Dean Hindman, 60, of Bartlesville, died at 10:52 P.M. on Saturday, December 31, 2011 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Bartlesville with Dr. Joe Dan Fowler officiating. Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory. Memorial funds have been established and those who wish may send their memorial gifts in his name, to On The Rock Ministries, P.O. Box 442, Bartlesville, Oklahoma, 74005 or to Comforting Hands Hospice, 2450 S.E. Washington Blvd., Bartlesville, Oklahoma, 74006. Mr. Hindman was born in Bartlesville on December 31, 1951 the son of Betty Louise (Alexander) and Billie “Bill” Dean Feeler. His biological father preceded him in death on May 30, 1954. His mother remarried to Terry Nathan Hindman, Sr. when Bobby was five. He moved to Nowata County with his family in 1957 and attended Diamond Point Elementary School where he graduated in 1966 and Nowata High School where he graduated in 1970. He then attended Oklahoma State University at Stillwater where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business in 1974. He was self employed as a building contractor for 33 years DBA Hindman Construction, was a 32 year member of the Bartlesville and National Association of Home Builders and had served as president of the local association in 1987. He had also worked as a school teacher in Wann, Oklahoma and had also been employed at Reda Pump. He was a member of the First Baptist Church for 28 years, including having served on the Building Committee for the new Family Life Center in 2003-04. He coached and sponsored Little League Baseball for 10 years. Mr. Hindman married Nancy Lynn Pierce in Nowata on June 14, 1974 and she was the mother of his 3 children. He later married Diane Sue (Holbert) Franklin on January 21, 1989 in Bartlesville and she preceded him in death on November 3, 1998. He was married to Ina Rosalee (Larrimore) Shane on November 5, 2005 in Bartlesville. Survivors include his wife, Ina Hindman of Bartlesville, his three children and eight grandchildren, Bryan James Hindman and his wife, Elizabeth and their children, Jarrett and Bradleigh Hindman of Bartlesville, Beth Denise (Hindman) Conley and her children, Lillie, Blake, Jake and Gracie Love Conley of Bartlesville, and Dallas Scott Hindman and wife Chandra and their children, Pierce and Aubrey Hindman of Bartlesville, his step children and four grandchildren from his marriage with Diane, Joshua “Josh” Markel Franklin and wife Kelley of Arlington, Texas, Jordan Renea (Franklin) Ward and her children, Jason “JJ” and Kobe Ward and Mady Williams, Jacob “Jake” Scott Franklin and wife Sarah and their son, Emmett Dean Franklin of Conway, Arkansas, Ina’s children, Ginger Leigh (Earley) Hinkle, Stephen Dale “Stevie” Earley, and Brooke Nichole (Shane) Woods and grandchildren from Ina’s children, Chase, Colby and Kaleigh Hinkle, Sydney and Silas Earley, and Preslee Woods, his mother and father, Betty Louise and Terry Nathan Hindman Sr. of Nowata, his siblings, Ronnie Richard Hindman of Ochelata, Billie Dee “Bill” Hindman of Edmond, Okla, and Terry “Bubber” Nathan Hindman, Jr. of Nowata, and numerous surviving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Diana Kay (Hindman) LaBarr on October 6, 1992, his grandparents, Aubrey Lee Alexander on November 22, 1992, Iva Mae (Gatten) Alexander on March 2, 2008, Henry Elder “Hank” Feeler on July 4, 1986 and Margaret Marine (Kendall) (Feeler) Conner on January 14, 1993, and his step grandparents who played a major role in Bobby’s life during his formative years and early adulthood, Oscar Edward “Bosco” Hindman on December 3, 1986 and Juanita Pauline (Adams) Hindman on December 23, 1986 as well as other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
