Billie Joann Marshall

Billie Joann Marshall, 73, of Bartlesville, died at 8:29 A.M. on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at the Jane Phillips Medical Center. Funeral services for Mrs. Marshall will be held at 10 A.M. on Saturday, February 2, 2019 in the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery directed by the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory. The Marshall family will receive guests for visitation at the Stumpff Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. Come & go visitation for friends and family will be on Thursday and Friday from 9 A.M. until 8 P.M. Mrs. Marshall was born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma on September 7, 1945 the daughter of Bill Gerald Lowe and Sharlene Joann (Kester) Lowe. She grew up and received her education in Bartlesville where she graduated from College High School in 1963. She was married to Robert Ray Marshall on February 12, 1964 in Bartlesville. Mr. and Mrs. Marshall have made their home in Bartlesville since that time. She had been active as a homemaker and the mother of four children. She had been employed for her parents as a cashier at the Wann Quick Stop and later with Southwestern Bell Telephone. She had also been employed with the Bartlesville School System in the cafeteria at Wayside School and later she was employed as a laboratory technician in Ochelata. One of her absolute favorite things to do was host the annual Christmas Eve party. Her and Bob would put on a party you would never forget. They would invite all their friends and family for food and drinks and at midnight she would open presents with her children and grandchildren. She was so proud of the fact they continued to have that party for over 50 years. She also loved having her grandchildren spend the night and going to Tulsa with her husband for shopping and a movie. She will be dearly missed by all her friends and family. Mrs. Marshall is survived by her husband, Robert Ray “Bob” Marshall of the home in Bartlesville, four sons, Brett Marshall and wife Sherry of Bartlesville, Brian Marshall of Bartlesville, Barry Marshall and wife Angela of Bartlesville and Brady Marshall and wife Denise of Bartlesville, her father, Bill Lowe of Wann, 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sharlene Lowe.
