Barbara Elaine Beaver Barbara Elaine Beaver (Remick), 66, died at 9:03 A.M. on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at the O.U. Presbyterian Hospital in Oklahoma City. Services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday, September 17, 2011 in the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Lay of Grove officiating and interment will be in the Nowata Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends who wish may call for visitation at the Stumpff Funeral Home from 9 AM until 9 P.M. on Thursday and Friday from 9 AM until 6 P.M. A memorial has been established and those who wish may send their contributions to the American Cancer Society, ATTN: Kathy Leeper, P.O. Box 1094, Bartlesville, Oklahoma, 74005. Mrs. Beaver was born at Drumright, Oklahoma on July 25, 1945 to Jesse Benjamin and Amanda Elizabeth (McCann) Tabler. She moved with her family to Bartlesville where she grew up and received her education. She was married to Louis M. Dyer in Bartlesville and they resided in Bartlesville. She was later married to Carl Beaver in Arkansas on June 13, 1969. They made their home in Dewey and she was employed at H & H Grocery, Carter’s Food Store as well as being the co/owner operator of Ranch Acres Apco and Carl’s Kerr-McGee in Bartlesville and later Carl’s Kerr-McGee in Grove where they moved in 1988. She was also employed in Grove at Digital Advantage and KGVE. Mr. Beaver preceded her in death on June 3, 1993. Since May of 2008 she has enjoyed the companionship of Danny R. Heskett currently residing in Crescent, Oklahoma where she was the farming partner raising watermelon, pumpkin and cantaloupe with Dan in the patch. Survivors include her fiancée, Danny R. Heskett of Crescent, Oklahoma, two sons, Tim Dyer and wife Sheryl of Collinsville and Curt Dyer and wife Trisa of Pottsboro, Texas, one daughter, Tammy Beaver Patton and husband Kevin Patton of Grove, Oklahoma, four step children, Wayne Beaver and wife Jackie of Cincinnati, Ohio, Don Beaver and wife Kelle of Bartlesville, Brenda Beaver Gaither and husband Freddy of Cushing, Oklahoma and Danny Harold Heskett of Crescent, Oklahoma, three brothers, Charles Tabler and Russell Tabler both of Mannford, Okla.and Richard Tabler of Dewey, one sister, Sandra Barnard of Mannford, Okla., 22 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. In addition to Mr. Beaver, she was preceded in death by her parents, three grandchildren, Chasidi Dyer, Montana Dyer and Austin Dyer and a daughter-in-law, Carlene Dyer. PDF Printable Version
