Mrs. Audree Ann Link Mrs. Audree Ann Link, 87, of Bartlesville, died at 7:10 P.M. on Sunday at the St. John Medical Center in Tulsa. Funeral services for Mrs. Link will be held at 10 A.M. on Saturday, June 6, 2015 in the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Burress of the East Cross United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in the Sunnyside Cemetery at Caney, Kansas directed by the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established and those who wish may send their contributions to the Washington County SPCA, 16620 State Highway 123, Bartlesville, Oklahoma, 74006. Mrs. Link was born on April 2, 1928 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Margarite (Atwood) and William Richard Stewart. She grew up and received her education in Caney, Kansas where she graduated from high school in 1946. She was married to James L. Stuart and they made their home in Bartlesville and he later preceded her in death. She had been employed at DeShazo’s Pharmacy and later at Cities Service Oil Company until the late 1960’s. She was then employed as the office manager for Terrell Taylor Construction Company in Bartlesville until her retirement. She was married to Kenneth Richard Link in Bartlesville on May 2, 1970 and they made their home in Bartlesville. Mr. Link preceded her in death on July 3, 2005 and she has continued her home in Bartlesville since that time. Mrs. Link was a member of the East Cross United Methodist Church where she also was active in the Women’s UMW Circle and was a member of the Bartlesville Credit Women. She loved to spend time at her cabin at the Havana Country Club at Havana, Kansas, loved her exercise and line dancing groups and regularly attended dances at the 55+ Activities Center. She also regularly attended football games at Oklahoma State University and especially liked the homecoming festivities each year. Mrs. Link is survived by one son, Scott Stuart and his wife Yvonne of Edmond, Okla., her significant other, Ivan “Skelly” Thompson of Havana, Kansas, three grandchildren, Chase M. Stuart of Dallas, Texas, Jamie B. Walker of Edmond, Okla., and Michael J. Walker of Okemah, Okla., her sister-in-law, Bernie Stewart of Dallas, Texas, Stephanie Stewart and her husband Elliott Brackett of Dallas, Texas, a great nephew, Stewart Brackett, and a great niece, Brea Brackett. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Ray Stewart. PDF Printable Version
