MR. ALBERT MOSELEY BIRMINGHAM Albert Moseley Birmingham, 90, Self Employed Remodel Contractor, died at 8:29 A.M. On Thursday in Joplin, Missouri. Mr. Birmingham was born at Okolona, Mississippi on September 20, 1926 to Earl Eugene and Anna Ray (Moseley) Birmingham. He grew up and received his education at Okolona. He was married to Betty Jane Seibert in 1945 in California. They moved to Bartlesville in 1948. They were married for 40 years, and raised their family in Bartlesville. In 1989 he married Mary Lou Cox of Bartlesville. Albert & Mary Lou lived in Bartlesville, until her retirement in 2003, when they moved to Grand Lake. He was a long standing member of the VFW, Eagles Lodge, and the Cleora Baptist Church. He was a World War II Veteran where he had served in the United States Navy. He was a carpenter by trade where he was well known for his wood working skills. Mr. Birmingham is survived by his wife Mary Lou Birmingham of the Home in Afton, by two sons Randy Birmingham, terry Lee Birmingham and wife Suzanne of Bartlesville by 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and by a son, Steven Wayne Birmingham, and by three brothers, Charles, Darrell and W.E. “Bill” Birmingham, and by a sister Louise Fletcher, and one half sister. Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 P.M. on Monday, May 8, in the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the Dewey Cemetery under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory in Bartlesville.
