Randy L. Anderson

Randy Anderson went to be with our Lord and Savior on August 1, 2024, surrounded by family. To know him was to love him and be loved by him. Randy was born in Lincoln, Nebraska, on August 28, 1959, to Rolland Anderson and Virginia Parra. There he attended St. Pius Catholic School. He lived in Arkansas City, Kansas for several years after high school before moving to Oklahoma where he lived in the Copan, Ramona, and Oglesby areas the remainder of his life. Randy married his best friend and love of his life, Shari Anderson on September 11, 1999, and joined all their kids into one big family. He worked for Zachary at the Phillips 66 Research Center in Bartlesville, Oklahoma for the past 25 years in Fire Safety. Randy's favorite saying was, "Man, I love this family," and he did, more than anything. Those he loved became his son, daughter, sis or brother, his love needed no blood line. He loved Nebraska football, but his favorite pastime was being on the lake with his wife Shari on their boat, the S.S. Simple Man, fishing, cruising, and tubing with his kids, grandkids and extended family. You could always find Randy with a huge smile to brighten your day and advice to guide your way. Randy is survived by his wife Shari of the home; children, Joseph Parrett of Bartlesville; Shawnna Summers and husband Eric of Tulsa; Daniel Horsman and wife Robin of Oglesby; Kristin Hughes and husband James of Ochelata; Casey Anderson and wife Mary of Ochelata; Martin Drummond and wife Leanna of Owasso; and Heather Savage and husband Dustin of Bartlesville; 20 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister Cheryl Kerrigan and Mike Anderson of Omaha, Nebraska; brother Greg Anderson and wife Terese of Lincoln, Nebraska; sister Jody Bridges and husband Jim of Lincoln, Nebraska; and several nieces and nephews who he thought of as his kids. He was preceded in death by his parents, his stepmom Betty Anderson, son Corey Parrett, sisters Sandy Murphy and Pat Fritchie, brother Jim Anderson, and grandson Alex Parrett. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Services will be held at 3:00 PM on August 10, 2024, at The Bartlesville Center (Bartlesville Community Center) and will be officiated by Rev. Randy Keller of the Oglesby Assembly of God Church. The family will gather in the Community Center Gallery after the service for a dinner. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Journey Home.
