Patricia Ann (Bond) Harper

Patricia Ann Bond Harper peacefully left this life for her eternal home on Friday, February 9, 2018 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Tyro Christian Church, in Tyro, Kansas, with Nathan Boldt, officiating. Trish was born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma on June 7, 1967. She was the youngest child of Jackie “J.R.” Ray Bond and Chesta “Sue” Lou Osborn. Trish spent her younger years living in the Bartlesville and Dewey areas, before the family moved to the current homestead in rural Wann, three miles south of Tyro. Trish had many health issues as a child, which required several heart surgeries. As a result, she was exceptionally close to her mother and father, who have preceded her in death. At the age of 21, Trish met Robert “Bobby” Harper, and they began dating. Bobby and Trish were married on July 18, 1988, in Independence, Kansas. They began their married life living in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, before moving to the family farm in rural Wann, Oklahoma where they remained at the time of her death. Trish’s childhood illness followed her through her adult years, requiring her to be on disability. Instead of seeking a full time career, Trish spent her time primarily focused on taking care of Bobby, tending to her many animals, visiting with friends and serving in the many activities of Tyro Christian Church. Trish was baptized during her childhood years, and rededicated her life to the Lord, making her confession of faith, and becoming a member of Tyro Christian Church several years ago. At TCC, Trish served as an Assistant Sunday School Teacher for the 4th grade class, co-leader of 4th Grade R.O.C.K.S. (Vacation Bible School), and Arts and Crafts Worker for R.O.C.K.S. Trish was also a member of the “Tried and True” Sunday School Class, and the “JOY” (Just Older Youth) group. Trish was a faithful member of Tyro Christian Church. She could be found most Sundays, sitting on the second row, middle section of the auditorium, actively participating in the church services. Trish was an avid OU fan, loved M&M’s plain chocolate candy and Dr. Pepper. She collected OU and M&M memorabilia, as well as many other trinkets. Trish was very generous and often showered others with gifts, even though she might have to go without some things for herself to do so. She was kind and willing to serve others in most any capacity, when the need was made known to her. Her beautiful smile, sparkling eyes and energetic spirit will be greatly missed by all, especially her loving and dedicated husband, her family and her friends. Trish is survived by a loving and grateful family; her husband, Bobby Harper, of rural Wann, Oklahoma, three brothers, Sam (Michele) Bond, of Okay, Oklahoma, Mike Bond (Tina), of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Donny Bond, of rural Wann, Oklahoma; one sister, Peggy Blanke, of Chelsea, Oklahoma; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Byron and Darlene Harper, of Dewey, Oklahoma, one brother-in-law, David Harper (Petra) of Holland, one sister-in-law, Connie (Patrick) Gemmell, of North Carolina , and many nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles; her three dogs, three geese, four ducks, one rooster, 2 chickens and three cats.
